Mary Trimble, Farmer Education Manager

A Houston-area native, Mary earned a B.A. in Business Management and minor in Animal Science from West Texas A&M University. She spent 10 years working and traveling in the States and abroad, woofing, working on horse farms, and putting on international events. Since then, She’s have worked as a seasonal farm worker and consultant at various farms throughout the Houston area. She’s passionate about urban agriculture, women in agriculture, the positive value that farms contribute to our community’s wellbeing, and in taking care of Houston’s farmers to ensure farming is sustainable in our city. She loves Houston’s diversity; her favorite part about traveling is meeting people from all over the world and learning about their culture and she feels like her can still experience that living in one place (Houston). Bok choi is her favorite PIF veggie!
