Jaqueline DeLeon, Executive Assistant

Jaqueline is a native Houstonian with Lebanese and Mexican roots – like shoumar (fennel) and tomatillos. She earned a B.A. in International Development from the University of St. Thomas, an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from UHCL, and has worked in various Talent Management and HR roles, mainly in the energy industry.

Jaqui is passionate about sustainable food systems and public health. She believes food allows us to have agency over our well-being, provides us with the opportunity to be intentional stewards of the earth, and is at the heart of our connection with others. True to her Arab and Latin roots, her favorite PIF veg is – the ultimate flavor enhancer –  the humble, yet powerful, garlic.
