Everyone is welcome to participate in Community Work Days. Attending a Volunteer Orientation is not required to participate. During these open community events, you’ll help a PIF Farmer with whatever they need on the farm (usually lots of weeding and mulching!). Community Work Days are hosted by a volunteer Farm Steward.

Volunteer Orientation is an essential first step to serving in most volunteer positions and opportunities at PIF, such as working alongside a PIF farmer at a local market or or helping pack and distribute produce at the PIF Food Hub.
Come ready to work and get dirty! Volunteers will help farmers at PIF Westbury and PIF Volunteer Farm Stewards with farm tasks like weeding and mulching.
