A Farm Share is also known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). The Farm Share creates a direct partnership between the customer and the farmer. You, the Farm Shareholder, help the small farmer guarantee the sale of their produce at the beginning of the season and in return you can count on local, freshly harvested produce weekly!

Plant It Forward network farmers do their best to provide you with a bountiful Farm Share each week. The quantity and variety of produce, however, may vary from week-to-week due to extreme weather, pests, natural disasters, or other production factors despite our best efforts. By joining the Farm Share, you are agreeing to share the risk of crop failure with us and other members. Read more in the Shareholder Agreement.

When choosing which size Farm Share will best suit your lifestyle, we recommend considering the frequency that you cook and prepare food at home. Our general recommendation:

Grand Share: contains eight to eleven (8-11) different varieties of seasonal produce from the farm and is recommended for households that cook 3+ times per week.

Petit Share: contains five to six (5-6) different varieties of seasonal produce from the farm and is recommended for households that cook 1-2 times per week.

You may switch from one size to another at any time during the season by logging into your online account.

Plant It Forward currently offers weekly and bi-weekly Farm Share subscriptions. Customers can use the delivery hold feature in their online account to further customize their delivery schedule.

A fee of $12.00 per delivery applies.

• The delivery time listed (12:00-6:00pm) is an estimated range, not a guarantee. The customer is responsible for retrieving their delivery package in a timely fashion.
• Our packaging does not ensure temperature control.
• Plant It Forward will deliver to the customer’s doorstep unless otherwise specified in writing in the customer’s original order comments. (Please notify Plant It Forward customer service immediately if you need to inform us of information specific to your delivery.)

Be sure to check your email for any announcements pertaining to a shift in the regular delivery schedule around national holidays.

If you anticipate needing to miss a scheduled Farm Share delivery, you can place a delivery hold by logging into your online account. Delivery holds must be placed at least 1 week in advance. Alternatively, you might consider asking a friend or family member to pick-up and enjoy your Share.

If you are switching between locations serviced by the same producer, you can change your Share pick-up location by logging into your online account and selecting your new location. Or, contact us at FarmShareProgram@plant-it-forward.org if you need assistance. Any adjustment in location should be communicated at least 1 week in advance.

Plant It Forward prides itself in growing the widest variety of fresh produce throughout the year.
